Manual Health Checks
As we learned from our Frequency of Automatic Health Checks article, Base automatically checks the target and anchor for the links that you input in our base. Automatic health checks are performed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
If you have noticed that a certain link’s health has changed in the time period between automatic health checks - you are able to change a link’s health manually. Here’s how.
Click on Edit:
At the very bottom of the link’s settings, you will see Health information:
Once you check the Don’t automatically check this link’s health box, the option to choose the link’s health, as well as its targets (target URL and anchor text) will appear:
Click on Update link, and you’re all done!
Your link will now appear on your Search page with a new health status.
An additional cool feature that you can use is the Flag option.
This option can let the Admin of the account know that a certain link’s health status needs to be amended. You are also able to quickly access all flagged links by using a filter:
