How to set up a Daily view of desired metrics in Google Analytics

The default view of GA widgets is set to monthly and every predefined widget will show you a monthly view on the graph.

If you wish to see the daily view of your widget, you should do the following:

When selecting a widget type you should select Custom.
​

In the next step you choose your desired:

  • Segment (i.e. Organic Traffic) 

  • Dimension Day of the month 

  • desired metrics to be shown (i.e. Users)


And there it is - you get a Daily view of a selected metric on your chart.
